just bought a zapco c2k 9.0 and its on its way here. i am planning to run an RE audio X X X 15 sub with it. But the problem is that my sub is a dual at 4ohm and i think i have also picked up the 4ohm version of the 9.0 by mistake, which puts out 2000x1 at 4 ohms bridged. Dont think i can return or change either cos they were bought internationaly. Now what is the best thing to do. someone help!!
or you could save up and buy another re 15 if you like the results with one but that would only be a 6 db gain doubling power and double speaker diameter (x x x is pricey thats whay i said only 6 db)

Newbie here can someone pls explain why a 4 ohm amp would be problematic with a dual 4 ohm sub?
Hey Shobahn, Sell the sub when you get it. you should be able to get what you paid for it or pretty damn close. I would not be surprised if someone on here bought it from you. Then just order the dual 2ohm sub no biggie bro it just might take a little longer. patience is a virtue my man.
guys, i cant ship it bac or sell it cos i am in India. It cost me 400 USD just to ship it here. and cant sell it cos things like RE dont exist here and no ones gonna pay me the cost of the sub, unless i sell it half.
the C2K 9.0 allows you to dial in the max amount of output power. you can run the amp to a sub that can't take it's full output, and dial it back so you don't blow the sub. The C2K amps are entirely computer controlled.
