i hear ppl talk about this alot but i dont know how to do it. a couple installers told me that it doesnt have to match as long as u have the ear to learn distortion. My amp is 200rmsx2 at 4 ohm and my 2 12s are hooked up to parallel 4 ohm and they are 400rms each. when I turn the "gain" a bit past half and run it for a while the protection light comes on until i turn it down and wait it out. What is up wit this? Can my speakers be sending the signal back which i doubt cuz its only half the rms?
Get someone from a shop to help you bud. Im sure someone will do it for free ...ps dont play the amp and make it go into protection mode you may blow it if you continue.
