okay i was trying to think if i should go with 2 13w7s with 2 1000/1 amps or 3 12w7s with 3 500/1 amps... im really afraid that the 500/1 amps wont push the 12w7s enuogh ... i am going to try to build a fiberglass ported box but if i cant get it right then i am going to just go sealed... which should i go with and which would be louder? i know i dont have to worry about SQ with JL so..... appx how many DBs would i gain going ported for system 1?.....2? ... audio tech itch readed 150db with 1 13W7 and 1 1000/1 ... so i really want to reach atleast 150 with 2 13w7s or 3 12w7s...
Both sound like they would be loud but think of it setup one has 2000 watts RMS all together and setup two only has 1500 watts RMS all together i think the 2 13.5's in a PORTED box would be hella loud but get more watts to the 3 12s and that would be even louder.
