A friend of mine put a sony deck in his car about 4 months ago and has a kicker 800 watt amp and 2 kicker comp 12s. He used to be able to turn it up like volume 21 or 22 and it would sound good and the bass would hit and he could leave it on that volume all day. Now if he turns it up that high, it turns off and he has to turn it back on and can only play it on like volume 17. what could be wrong with it? Everything was installed by a local car audio shop so everything should be wired correctly but who knows. Any advice or suggestions on what to do?
Not too make this sound too bad, but that would be a Sony deck for you!! My advice would be get a much better deck to go along with the nice amp & subs you've already got.
