Saturday, January 29, 2005 - 20:51 GMT I have a dual 4-ohm 12" Type-R subwoofer, and I was wondering if the extra 50W from an MRD-M350 Alpine amplifier would be too much for it to handle. Thanks

Monday, January 31, 2005 - 12:59 GMT I have (2) 2omh DVC 10" type R's (have them wired to 1ohm) and I'm putting 450 into each and they sound excellent. They will definately handle more power than stated (possibly why the 2005's look exactly (except color)like the 2004's but say they can handle 500 instead of 300rms))

Monday, February 07, 2005 - 21:47 GMT i was just about to buy a 10'' type r and the m350 amp should i spend a little more for the newer m301? the power is the same but the newer one has some other qualities that im not sure of. also, does the 12'' handle more power than the 10''?

Tuesday, February 08, 2005 - 01:23 GMT Uhh, no the 12's and the 10's are the same power handeling. I'm pretty sure the 15" can handle more though, 750 rms I think
