Is it true that when ur car is idling of off you can get around 12 volts to your amp but when you are driving your car that can get around 14 volts to your amp?
i just heard this from a buddy and was wondering if it was true or not... thanks
Yes as the alternator spins faster due to the RPM's climbing, the alternator becones more effective and generates more voltage. I think it gets somewhere near 14.4 Volts.
