Wednesday, January 26, 2005 - 02:07 GMT I have 4 12" Audiobahn speakers that are 400 watts a piece. I was told to get a 4 channel amp. I want to get a good amp but I only have like $300 to spend. Any suggestions? if its a little more in price thats okay. Thanx

Wednesday, January 26, 2005 - 05:00 GMT You don't need 4 channel amp for the subs. Get a class D mono amp that's 1200W rms and is 2 ohms stable. 4 subs wired in parallel and then in series will give you 2ohms total load. Search eBay for 1000W - 1200W rms mono amp.

Wednesday, January 26, 2005 - 14:30 GMT If you connect 4 4ohm DVC subs in parallel, you will not get 1ohm total.
