JAc Unregistered guest | How much power are you running. Rule of thumb for me is 1 farad for every 800 watts so you wont over stress the capacitor. By the way...if you bump too much without a capacitor your wiring might fry in your whole car or your battery will explode. words of wisdom and experience. |

Silver Member Username: HdubbFarmington, Nm Usa Post Number: 433 Registered: Nov-04 | try getting a high output alternator before a capacitor. when you have a cap it also needs to be charged and having to charge the batt. and a cap is more strain on your alt. so get an alt first. as far as frying all your wires just upgrade your amps wiring. in wiring the lower the number the better, and the shorter the distance of the wire the better. with bigger wires yoiur system will not fry. and your batt. will not explode |
