Right now I have a Rockwood 450 two channel amp. On the amp is 225x225. I have two MTX-RT 10 4ohms wired in parallel and bridged. Would I get more from the amp bridged this way at 2ohms or would I be better to run the amp bridged at @4ohms with one sub. Also what do you think the amp will push in real rms watts.
Whether you bridge the amp or not will depend on your speaker configuration. If your amp is only 4ohms stable bridged, then you'll only be able to use 1 sub (assuming it's 4ohms SVC). For power, look at the fuse size on the amp and multiply it by 12v. So for example 20A fuse x 12v = 240W. This doesn't mean it'll give you 240W, but somewhere around 200W or less. Since rockwood amp's aren't the greatest, I'll guess maybe 100W rms. If you need a good amp at cheap price, try Audiobahn Intake series. They cost around $120 and actually perform well. I have one of them.
