What type o f cables (power)do I need to connect an 7" monitor in my car. I just want to connect it with the required cable gauge just to be secured. Any help will be appretiated .

as far as i know monitors dont require a great deal and im sure it has a harness id match it to the guage for the power wire in your harness of the monitor. lcd's are pretty forgiving and dont require much amperage. otherwise i would say 10 guage should be more than enough maybe overkill but certainly couldnt hurt. just make sure its fused even though the monitor itself and or its harness should be...id like to think you can never have enough fuses. jay
