Friday, January 14, 2005 - 02:34 GMT I always see pics of cars with these custom installs that have the woofers mounted with the baskets showing, and the front of the sub mounted to to enclosure firing in! What type of enclosure s are they using? How do they calculate air space for an eclosure of that kind, and what type of sound does it produce? SPL, SQ? Thanks in advance

Friday, January 14, 2005 - 03:47 GMT ....so how do they determine what amount of air space to you for each sub? Do they use "sealed" box dimensions of "ported" box air space dimensions?

Friday, January 14, 2005 - 03:55 GMT They use sealed box dimensions, the only difference is that the compensate for the displacement of the sub (the box will be made a little smaller).

Friday, January 14, 2005 - 03:58 GMT You can do ported too, by the way, as long as you compensate for the sub displacement.
