the Kodas retail around $350, while the Kappas retail at $550 however, the Kappas can be had, brand new, on ebay for $200.
so which has the most and best sound?

Both are very good speakers for the money,Kappa's can have a very forward tweeter especially if sep from the mid bass also needs to be partnered with a sub as they only go down to 75htz. The Koda has more bass (good if your not running a sub) and the tweeter is more like the JL audio's, very non fatiguing but detailed. Im running Kadas in the front doors and rear parcel shelf with a JL 450/4 and there is no need for a sub.
I have perfect 6.1 and they are beautiful, amazing SQ but definately need a sub as you need to high pass filter the sound to the components at 80hz. They distort below that. The mid bass and mid-range are perfect, very natural.
