i'm almost done with my 15' sub box. originaly it was suposed to be around 4.2 cubes so i had the port lenght figured out and all that.however, i came 2 inches short to make it fit better and i might have to slim it another inch, maybe. so i gotta use pollyfil. my question is , if i use 1lb per cube how much volume will the sub think its got? how much volume does pollyfil fool the sub to have at the rate of 1lb per cube?

it'll make the box appear about 10% larger.
you can just use rolls of polyfill and staple gun it to the box inside instead of using teh loose stuff if this is a ported box.
otherwise you'll just blow all the polyfill out of teh port and your trunk will look like a snow scene.
all you'll need to do is add a manger and a little nativity setting.

You can also cover the inside of the port with chicken wire. This is from the kicker website. www.kicker.com. In on of there pdf's. I heard that polyfill in a ported box lowers the volume. Don't know if its true.
