OK well right now i have 2 12" memphis mojos in a sealed box thats about 4ft^3 air space. they are in a custom built box downfiring in the back of a jeep wrangler and sound pretty dammn good except for the fact that when it hits hard the floor panel flexes real bad. i want to put these babies in a ported box but i have no clue how to fire the subs. what do you guys think would sound best? -its a soft top and i run no top in the summer but dont mind the sacrifice of losing sound cuz im planning on keeping the downfiring sealed box to switch back in in the summer
also, the subs specs call for 4ft^3 EACH in a ported box with a port size of 10X4X15 tuned to 40hz. now this box will be pretty damn big if i build it 8ft^3 just for 2 subs.... does this seem right? or can i build it smaller and tune it differently??
