Power for my 12'' eclipse ti.

I'm currently looking for an amp to run my 12'' eclipse ti sub.

I was wondering, would giving it 800 wrms do any damage to the sub, since it is rated at 750 wrms. I was thnking about gettin the mtx 801d.

Do you guys hav any suggestions on what sort of amp to get for my sub.

It's the dual 4 ohm version. thanks.

how much do you have to spend and ill get ya a few different amp quotes.

you can run over 1000 to the sub easy

I have seen people run 1200 no problem and supposedly it can take more

jbl gto1201 will runn 1200 watts to it

hifonics brutus 1500d will run about 1000watts to it at 2 ohms

Ported Box- This way the sub can take the extra power a lot better that you're giving it. I don't know the exact specs, u need to ask the manufacturer about that.
