First and foremost because it's 1ohm stable, but the MTX is not. With 4ohm DVC, you either get 1, 4, or 8ohms. I don't think 4ohms is enough juice for the subs, so you're left with 1ohm. The kicker amp can take it, the MTX can't. |

Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 6973 Registered: Dec-03 | the kicker kx1200.1 works well with two dual 4 ohm solobarics. with one, coils in parallel, you'll get over 600 watts @ 2 ohms. add a second in parallel and at 1 ohm you'll get over 600 watts to each sub. works out well. |
