okay i have a 4ohm dvc sub with 400 watts rms. and i have a 400 watt rms amp but the sub can only be 2 or 8 ohm.. so how should i hook this sub up? my amp cant take a 2ohm load bridged.

then you need a new amp...or if the subs new and unused i'm sure the shop would take it back and yuou should ge the dual 2 ohm...
