I am putting two about 10" Punch HX2 subwoofer in my extended cab truck. They are going to be in a .8 cubic foot sealed box with a rockford fosgate 1001bd amp putting 500 watts to each sub. What is a good estimate for about how many dB's my system could do? Thanks for the help
there is no way to accurately estimate DB, there are way to many factors that effect this,Amp,subs, car, enclosure, how much power your alternator can produce, how your sound settings are adjusted, and im sure there are a couple more.

I have almost that exact same system, except I have the rockford p8002 amp with 400 watt's to each sub. I have them in an 98 chevy extended cab z71. With a cheep radioshack tester I can hit 125. I know that isn't that good but the sq is really good in the subs. You may hit more depending on the box, amp, and a lot of other things. Good luck, they are nice subs I love them.
