I am making my first sealed box today for 2 tens with dimensions 13x13x13 for each chamber. Is there anything wrong with creating a perfect cube for each chamber? I heard earlier that you want to slope the back of the box for better sound. Is this true? Any other advice you have for box building would be appreciated. Thanks. Eric
I just read on the12volt.com that "lining the walls with an acoustic damping material is still recommended." I have 25 sq ft of edead v1 that I just bought for a friend. Should I line the inside of my box with this?
I am actually not building the box till tomorrow now, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Eric

Something about the sound waves inside the chamber reacting to eachother is the reason for having a sloped side on the enclosure...some boxes are cubed though. And, yes on the damping material.
