Is it possible to connect two MTX 6001 amps to a JL Audio 12W7?

It is called biamping. Using two different amplifiers or cables would compromise the seamlessness of the reproduction. Even using two identical amplifiers or cables does not offer the best performance for the money spent, in my opinion. My listening has shown that, for example, speakers perform better with one $1000 amplifier from brand A, rather than two $500 amplifiers. You'd have to fork out additional cash for added equipment too.
