R - is the inside radius of your vent tube. Vb - is the internal volume of your enclosure in cubic inches. To convert cubic feet to cubic inches, multiply by 1728. the equation Lv = {[(1.463 x 10^7)R^2] / [(Fb^2)(Vb)]} - 1.463R using the forumla square root of : (a / 3.14) will give you the approximate radius (R) of a rectangular port this is what i use and its worked pretty well for me, maybe it will for you too |
