Im looking at the audiobahn ABF model for my car, bad idea?! Ive read in earlier posts that basically everyone dislikes audiobahn speakers. These are supposed to be like their top of the line speakers so I was wondering if you guys could tell me what you think of them.
Magnet Weight: 40 oz Power Handling: 215 RMS Frequency Response: 20Hz - 21kHz Sensitivity: 96dB Impedance: 4 Ohms Mounting Depth: 3 3/4"
audiobahn ABF46T 2-way kevlar
Chrome Plated Basket Glass Fiber Composite Cone EPDM Rubber Surround Removable Remote-mount Tweeter on all 2-way Speakers 2 Layer High-temp ASV Voice Coil 4 Ohm Impedance Complete With Mounting Hardware
Magnet Weight: 20 oz Power Handling: 80 RMS Frequency Response: 50Hz - 21kHz Sensitivity: 94dB Impedance: 4 Ohms Mounting Depth: 2"
No/Yes/many....?!
The rms on the 4x6's is 80 and the 6x9's are 215. I want to get an amp but Im not sure if my head unit pioner 7600 (50x4 watts) will be enough power to power the front speakers by itself and then just get a 2 channel amp to power the back speakers.
If these speakers arent good can you throw out some speaker brands/model types.
Thanks....

This is like buying the most expensive house in the ghetto. If you like Kevlar, go Focal. Personally, I'm a polypropelene boy.
my best suggestion is to audition a pair yourself. component speakers are very subjective. everybody has their own taste for what they like, and most companies have a unique sound to their speakers without heavy signal processing to correct for colorations.
see what sounds good to your ears. I like rainbow reference and dynaudio myself, given the choice. everyone has their favorites.
