hi everyone i just got my new head unit its a Pioneer Premier DEH-P8MP. i am about to install it but had a question. my question is will my kicker K-series 6.5 components sound good being powered by the head unit's output or will i have to go wih a 2channel amp? any info will help thanks!!
not sure what the rms output of the stereo is but the rms ratings for the speakers is 75w. i know the stereo wwill go nowhere near that and the speakers will be incredibly underpowered but my question is just if it will sound ok? i was trying to avoid an amp if possible.
It should sound *ok* , but to actually get some nice sound , your gonna have to get an amp , so why are you trying to avoid an amp? You can get a decent 4 channel for pretty cheap.
