Silver Member Username: Comet345Orlando, FL USA Post Number: 101 Registered: Sep-04 | after reading some sites, ive come up with this... going to need a 4 guage amp kit and an 8 guauge amp kit 4 guage for the kicker kx1200.1 amp certified at 1510rms, and jl 300/2 amp gets the 8 guauge...... on the sites, it says up to 1400w you need 4 gauge, over that, use 2 gauge ... but i was thinking that it probably would never get up that high..... but anyway, i would also need 2 sets of 2 channel rca cables... so is that right? 4 gauge amp kit (for subs/amp) 8 gauge amp kit (for components/amp) 2 sets of 2 channel rca cables what about power wire ? anyone let me know ? again for clarity alpine 9831 kicker kx1200.1 rated at 1510 jl 300/2 .. probably rated at 320 or so kicker solo-baric L7 10's dvc 4 ohm jl xr650-csi component speakers... |

Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 5480 Registered: Dec-03 | www.knukonceptz.com get the 4ga kit then add in a distribution block. you can run 4ga from battery to amps, then split with the block to each amp.. split down to 8ga if desired and add a couple feet of that to the order for pos and ground for the 300/2 that should do the job |
