Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 5330 Registered: Dec-03 | the "SPL" rating and power handling both are meaningless in this case. if you want a rough idea of the SPL a given speaker is capable of then look at the cone surface area (or diameter) and the Xmax or excursion. That's a very rough way to tell. There is no perfect way to know how loud a sub will be though since it's based on a LOT of factors. sub design, xmax, enclosure, vehicle, power, and plenty more. |
