any danger when running two subs at 1 ohm?
Will th bass be distorted?

No, as long as your amp is 1 ohm stable and the power then doesnt far exceed what the subs can handle.

Pretty much what Damien said.
As long as the amplifier is 1 ohm stable, and has all the current it needs to supply power at 1 ohm so it won't clip, you should be fine.
