Anonymous | Ok, I have a question. I am getting two Kicker CompVR CVR12-2 subs tomorrow, along with a MTX Thunder801D amp. Going to be running 400w rmx x 2 to them both. My question is.. what type of box should I use? Later on once I get more time I'm going to try and do a custom job , but for now, I have a dual 12" sub box that ported/bandpass.. (i think) it has the subs behind about a 1/2 inch of plexiglass, and its ported.. so yea, its both. Or I also have a Q-Logic sealed box, which is 1.25 cubic feet of volume im guessing? (its the one you get @ best buy.) Which do you think I should put the subs in? I listen to mostly punk/alternative/rock music, so i'm guessing that the sealed would be better for sq? please shed some light on this for me.. thanks. also-- ive read stuff on here about how you guys are against certain brands.. but what do you think about my choices for amp/subs? Ive had mtx amps before for a 4 channel and was extremely pleased with them.. ok im done for now, someone reply! Thanks. |
Anonymous | One more question.. What type of connectors do I need for the sub, I notice is has circular things on it.. whats the name for them? Do I just crimp them on the speaker wire? Thanks again. |
