Posted on the HE2 is cheaper and requires a smaller amp for peak performance.
It's a weaker sub than the HX2 however.

so lets say there was 400watts to the he2
and 400watts to the hx2 wihc one would play louder,better etc

use an amp rated at about the same RMS power as the subs you choose.
