hey guys i am just starting to buy a sound system for my 2004 lancer

i need some help on subs thou i dont know what i need and how many
i listen to rap and hip hop

my question is what sub, what size and how many do should i get

i am looking at the infinity kappa perfect subs
jl audio 10w7 or 12w7
alpine type x sub
or a memphis sub

any help and opinions would be appreciated

jl is gonna be like 500 bucks more than the perfects

you can get 10" perfects for like 80 bucks

what would sound the best thou i rather take my time and save up but do it right right away

i was also thinking about the 6wv2 series i believe from jl the model under the w7

if i were u id get a cheap but decent amp like the bp1200.1 and get 1 12" RE XX.X like glass was talking about

that will be loud enough for you and you will save some $

just get the biggest ported box you can in the trunk

People at tweeter might tell you JL is the best yadda yadda yadda. Infinity Kappa Perfect are just about $400 less than the JL's. Honestly, The JL W7 is a better sub but it ain't worth $400 dollars more. Don't worry at all about the perfect hittin hard cause they DO!
