Im about to make a major purchase of HU and mids/highs and possibly amps was wonderin if these are legit sites, and if so which would you recommend.thanks.
i recommend to go to the manufacturers website better. if not , look for a report at ripoff.com before u purchase from that site. a lil time will save u a lot of headache. also, u should be careful who u ask these questions to on a forum, u might get advise from the wrong person who can be pluging their own website!!
1. Item out of stock. You cancel order and move on.
2. Serial numbers off. Not a stolen item, but they are taking items from brick&mortars (ie. the owner of a registered dealer is helping run the internet company), and they don't want to lose their registered dealership status.
3. Its broken. Factory defects happen. The internet dealer didn't screw up, but its just a bad part. Happens if you buy from a big store too. But these online dealers are the ones who service the warranty, and they usually have to go through a couple middlemen to get it fixed from the manufacturer. This means it takes a while to get the item back.
