Wednesday, October 06, 2004 - 06:02 GMT hehe I'd like to see an XBL^2 motor assembly from the RE X.X.X.(yes it's different than the Brahma), Eclipse Titanium cone, with a JL crossdrilled polepiece and overroll surround. That would probably sound sweet and hit pretty hard

Wednesday, October 06, 2004 - 06:17 GMT Sometimes prone to failure, especially w/ a lot of force applied. Pretty much NO chance of cone flex with the Titanium cone. Lightweight as well.

Wednesday, October 06, 2004 - 06:39 GMT Mine would look like a desperate (and crappy) attempt to fix a sub before someone knows I messed it up Who knows, though, maybe I could convince it to sound good...ok maybe not lol.

Wednesday, October 06, 2004 - 07:32 GMT Wonder how much a 10" titanium cone would cost us anyways. Are those Eclipse cones "pure" titanium? or an alloy. Seems like they would cost a mint if they were even almost pure. -Fishy

Wednesday, October 06, 2004 - 15:44 GMT What we need is a micro welded titanium W Cone! We'd call ourselves "M&U Engineering". Megastiff and Ultralight -Fishy [note] whatever happend to those flat honeycomb PPI drivers. they were good weren't they?
