New member Username: FollowyoursolePost Number: 7 Registered: Sep-04 | I just ordered a infinity reference sub for dirt cheap. The sub has a rms of 300 watts and 1200 peak. I have a cheap profile 600 watt mono amp. The sub is dvc so im gonna wire it parralel into 2ohms. My amp at 2 ohms pushes 420watts rms supposedly. Will this damage my sub? will it blow or damage the sub even though its 1200 watts peak? Are there any negatives in this beside running the amp hotter? I know profile has a reputataion of not meeting their specs so its probably less then 420watts coming out from the amp. Any info would be appreciated thanks. |

If so you will get the 450 rms suggested but it is lower you will be fine just adjust the settings properly on the amp...i listened to one of these in a honda civic on a bazooka 500 watt i think.... youll be pleased for the price |
