ODsid Unregistered guest | I'm looking into installing two Cerwin-Vega 15" V-Max DVC subs. I'm still wondering what amplifier I should get for them. The subs are 400W rms and I was looking at the Cerwin-vega EXL-1000D. Will this setup work? What recommendations do you have? |

ODSid Unregistered guest | The amplifier actually delivers these power ratings: 1000 watts RMS x 1 @ 4 ohm 1000 watts RMS x 1 @ 2 ohm 1000 watts RMS x 1 @ 1 ohm What I'm really worried about is the higher power rating of the amplifier (1000W) vs. 800W total for the subs. How will the subs handle this excess power? |

ODSid Unregistered guest | Coll thanks, but even if the amp does not run @ 1 and 4 Ohm, i can always get the SVC model of the sub which is also a 4 Ohm and run them at 2 ohm right? |
