yo i want 2 subs but dont kno what to get i dont want to spend more then $200 per sub my brother told me to go with some alpine type Rs for 199 but i dont kno is there better out there for that price???(plz list an amp that will go good with em TY)
Well, the Type R is a good sub. But $199 is too much to pay per sub. They can be found for just about half that off Ebay and other internet sites. Go to a local shop and listen to them. If you can't find one, your last resort, Circuity City has them. Ask them to play them off the MTX 801D.
Some other good subs are the Cerwin Vega V-Max and the Infinity Perfect 12.1 The JL 12w3v2 should be about $200 and that's a good sub too (a little over priced IMO) You shouldn't have any trouble finding Infinity or JL subs to listen to either. So go try them all out. Find the ones you like and then look for better prices online.
