Thursday, September 23, 2004 - 17:16 GMT would it be a NOTICEABLE difference in the amount of heat it produces?

Thursday, September 23, 2004 - 18:14 GMT Yes. Clipping is when the amp is trying to produce true DC-DC power, so that'll heat things up a lot, plus when an amp is clipping, it's power nearly doubles a lot of times. Of course, this equals heat, and it would be noticeable.
