How to install 2 amps with one RCA output

laramie Unregistered guest	Posted on Sunday, September 19, 2004 - 23:21 GMT i'M TRYING TO INSTALL ON MY CAR TWO AMPS, ONE OF 250 WATTS FOR THE FACTORY SPEAKERS AND ANOTHER OF 1200 WATTS FOR TWO 15" SUBS. i HAVE ALL THE WIRING READY WHAT i DONT KNOW IS HOW DO I DO THE RCA WIRING BECAUSE MY CAR RADIO HAS ONLY ONE RCA OUTPUT.. CAN I USE A "Y" CONECTOR TO SPLIT THE RCA OUTPUT FROM THE RADIO TO BOTH AMPS?

Its becoming rare in newer amps now.
