i'M TRYING TO INSTALL ON MY CAR TWO AMPS, ONE OF 250 WATTS FOR THE FACTORY SPEAKERS AND ANOTHER OF 1200 WATTS FOR TWO 15" SUBS. i HAVE ALL THE WIRING READY WHAT i DONT KNOW IS HOW DO I DO THE RCA WIRING BECAUSE MY CAR RADIO HAS ONLY ONE RCA OUTPUT.. CAN I USE A "Y" CONECTOR TO SPLIT THE RCA OUTPUT FROM THE RADIO TO BOTH AMPS?
I would use a Y, but like MazdaMan said, there is a 'pass thru' on some amps (RF comes to mind) to where there are multiple RCA in and out puts on the amp. Its becoming rare in newer amps now.
