However, my laptop doesn't have a firewire port OR a space for me to insert a firewire card. I do have an HDMI and 4 x USB ports - as well as a VGA (?) input. It also has a 5 in 1 digital media reader. I'm not particualry tech savvy - so would really appreciate some help - whether I can get an adapter / cable or any other way to do it. And I can't afford to buy another camcorder / laptop! THANK YOU in advance |

Was the PC running XP at all or Vista? Another question I have is does your Video cam use SD cards because if it does and your laptop has a SD card port, then purchase a 8GB or 16GB SD card and store them that way. You mentioned you had downloaded the drivers/software for the camera, but odds are you have to find a computer running XP with a Firewire port on it. _____________________________________________________ http://go.iomega.com/en/products/external-hard-drive-portable/?partner=4750 |
