I have a 2002 Chevy Tahoe. It came with 1 functioning Viper remote 470V/p/X and one replacement remote. I do not know the model of the viper system nor have I been able to see anything that says viper in the car.
I tried the directions that came with it.
I pressed the viper Program button in car. Pressed and held it (again) and it chirps.
I then press the P button on the remote until the unit chirps again. I then shut the key off. It does not seem to program the new remote.
On the existing remote all the features including autostart work.
