Is there any noticable difference between Optical Digital vs Co-axial Digital? Are the cables comparably priced? Assuming you have a limited number of each type of input on your receiver, which components would you give optical vs. co-ax?
Thanks!

Good quality digital cables should be difficult to distuinguish between. Opticals, being made of glass, are less durable and easier to break. They are also less flexable, having a minimun bending radius. If you have a lot of nearby interference use optical, since they cannot act as an aerial.
