Hello everyone, I just bought an Optoma 719. I love it, but I have noticed my eyes have start to hurt and I am getting headaches, I am 22 years old and have never had problem with my vision. The reason I'm here is should I be using S Video over VGA? I've played with the settings on the projector but I can't find out what is bothering my eyes. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi, I just got a 719, and noticed alot of "rainbow" effects due to the color wheel spinning slower than in some newer DLP's. Try changing the video mode to reduce brightness & contrast, and/or set the lamp to Eco mode. You can also try different refresh rates on your PC, though the 719 only actually outputs 60Hz. Best signal quality is a digital DVI cable, but analog VGA is a close second. Hope this helps.
