XGIMI HALO+ – Upgrade to Full HD
The Halo+ steps up to 1080p resolution, 700 Lumens of brightness and a Harman Kardon speaker system for improved sound. It also includes a built-in 59 wH battery pack for standalone portability and unplugged video playback for up to 2.5 hours. The Halo+ is build on Android TV 10.0 for access to thousands of streaming apps.
XGIMI Horizon – Step Up to 1500 Lumens
If you’re watching movies in a bright room or before the sun has completely gone to bed, you may want to trade portability for brightness and upgrade to the XGIMI Horizon. It offers 1,500 lumens of brightness for a nice punchy image even when the lights are on. The Horizon is a bit bulkier and not as portable as the MoGo 2 or Halo+ but it can be used outside as long as you can provide power. It does not include a built-in battery.
XGIMI Horizon Pro – 4K for $1K
The main upgrade in the Horizon Pro is that it steps up from HD 1080p to 4K resolution for ultra-sharp moving images. With four times the detail of 1080p and support for HDR10 high dynamic range content, the Horizon Pro makes an excellent choice for a budget, transportable 4K projector. Like the Horizon, the Horizon Pro is rated for 1,500 Lumens of brightness.
The Horizon Pro features Intelligent Screen Adaption Technology: ±40 Degrees Auto Keystone Correction (Horizontal & Vertical), Auto Screen Alignment, Auto Focus, and Obstacle Avoidance. Set-up is simple and image detail is noticeably better than the HD version, which matters even more when you blow the image up beyond 100 inches. The Horizon Pro also features XGIMI’s Advanced X-VUE 2.0 Image Engine, 60Hz MEMC super-smooth motion compensation and AI Brightness Adjustment for improved picture quality compared to the non-Pro version.

XGIMI Horizon Ultra: Better, Brighter and Dolby Vision Compatible
XGimi’s flagship “lifestyle” projector, the Horizon Ultra is one of the rare projectors that supports Dolby Vision dynamic HDR for stellar performance on 4K streaming sources and UHD Blu-ray Discs. It also adds about 800 Lumens of brightness (2,300 Lumens) compared to the Pro model making it better suited for watching movies in a living room or environment with higher ambient light. Lighting is provided by an advanced dual laser/LED hybrid light source estimated to last up to 25,000 hours .
The Horizon Ultra features XGIMI’s most powerful built-in sound option with 12 watts of power to each channel in a Harman Kardon-designed speaker system. If you’d like to hook it up to a soundbar, receiver or surround sound system, you can choose among the 3.5mm headphone jack, a fiberoptic digital output or the integrated HDMI port with eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel).
The XGIMI Horizon Ultra took second place overall in the recent ProjectorScreen.com/ProjectorCentral lifestyle projector showdown, pitted against some much more pricey competition. It also earned the top ranking for sound quality thanks to the on-board Harman Kardon speaker system. The Horizon Ultra is available at ProjectorScreen.com for the same sale price as Amazon (with free shipping), but first time customers save an additional $50 and can also post a review for an additional $50 discount making it a better deal than Amazon.
The XGIMI Horizon Ultra features XGIMI’s newest Intelligent Screen Adaption, version 3.0 which can adjust the image for different wall or screen colors, optimize screen correction and provide lossless optical zoom. It is built on the Android TV 11.0 platform giving you access to thousands of streaming apps like Disney+, YouTube TV and much more.
