UST Projector Deal: Hisense 4K 100L5G with 100″ Screen: $2497.97 (Save $1500)

Looking for a good deal on a huge screen “laser TV?” Hisense has got you covered.

Hisense L5G UST Projector Lifestyle

UST projectors are becoming a popular alternative to flat panel TVs and traditional projectors due to their massive screen sizes and affordable prices. And one of the most popular high-performing UST projectors just got a whole lot cheaper. The Hisense 100L5G 4K UST projector previously sold for nearly $4,000, but now you can get one bundled with a 100-inch DaLite ALR screen for just $2,497.97. That’s $1,500 below MSRP. The deal is available at ProjectorScreen.com:

ProjectorScreen.com also guarantees that the price won’t be any lower on Black Friday. If it is, just contact them for a refund of the price difference. This lets you shop early, enjoy the projector for longer, and not worry about it running out of stock during the Black Friday rush. If you need a larger screen size, the virtually identical Hisense 120L5G is available bundled with a 120-inch Cinema Screen for just $500 more: $2,997.97. The two projectors differ only in their fixed focal lengths: the 100L5G is preset for a 100-inch screen while the 120L5G is preset for 120 inches.

The Hisense L5G projector recently took second place in the Laser TV Showdown single laser UST projector competition. It finished with an overall score just 25 hundredths of a point behind the BenQ V7050i, which currently sells for $500 more, without a screen.

Hisense-L5G-900

The L5G offers 2700 ANSI Lumens of peak brightness, 4K resolution (3840×2160 pixels) and HDR10 high dynamic range support. The L5G’s X-Fusion laser lighting engine exceeds the Rec.709 color standard for UHD 4K and has a rated life span of over 25,000 hours. That’s over twelve and a half years of average viewing without ever needing a new bulb.

The input lag is among the lowest for UST projectors at 41.8 ms. This makes it a decent choice for big screen gaming. The projector senses when a gaming source is connected and automatically adjusts picture settings for optimum gaming performance. The unit features two HDMI 2.1 inputs and one HDMI 2.0 input. It includes both HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) and eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel) for compatibly with third party receivers and sound bars.

There is a 30 watt powered speaker built-in, but we’d recommend going with a discrete Dolby Atmos surround system for big sound to match the big picture. With the savings, you can actually afford an entire 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos surround system with money left over for popcorn (lots and lots of popcorn).

The Hisense 100L5G projector’s ultra short throw distance means it can be placed just 14.3 inches from the wall in order to get that 100-inch diagonal image. And the 100-inch DaLite ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) screen comes with it at no additional cost. The screen rejects ambient light to prevent the projection image from getting washed out.

Not Just a Pretty Face, It’s Also Smart

The L5G includes Android TV on board. This gives you access to the Google Play Store with hundreds of video, gaming and audio streaming apps such as Netflix, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime Video, HBO and more. The remote even includes a microphone with voice control. Whether you use Google Home or Amazon Alexa, the L5G is compatible with both platforms for full smart home integration.

The 100L5G and 120L5G are in stock and ready to ship as of the publication date of this article (October 31, 2022). Check ’em out on ProjectorScreen.com:
