Amazon is up to their Prime Big Deals Day tricks again, this time with a hefty discount on TCL’s excellent MiniLED TV the QM851G. The 2024 flagship model QM8 Series TV is available in a 65-inch size for $998, the 75-inch model is $1,326 and the massive 98-inch model is $3998. These are the lowest prices we’ve seen on all three sizes (approximately 33% off the normal low sale prices).

While the price may be low, this is not a cheap TV. This is TCL’s 2024 flagship QM8 Series, which features thousands of zones of local dimming, AI picture processing and Quantum Dot color technology. We reviewed the 65-inch model earlier this year and highly recommended it for the price (and that was the regular $1500 sale price).
The set supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG high dynamic range, 4K resolution and a native 120Hz panel for excellent performance on sports, gaming, TV shows and movies. It’s IMAX Enhanced Certified and supports Dolby Atmos decoding. It includes goodies like a built-in ATSC 3.0 Next Gen TV tuner and is built on the Google TV operating system so it has access to all of the major video and music streaming apps like Netflix, AppleTV+, Max, Amazon Prime, and hundreds more.
