It’s that magical time of the year for bargain hunters: Amazon Prime Day! Though it has actually grown to two days and today (7/16) isn’t even a prime number (but tomorrow is), it’s still a great day to score a sweet deal on that electronics gear you’ve been lusting after, including wireless ANC headphones.

One of the standout deals today is on the Bose QuietComfort ANC Headphones. Instead of the list price of $349, today you can score a pair for just $199 with free shipping.

Virtually identical to the QuietComfort 45, which were favorably reviewed by our own William Jennings, the new QuietComfort model is available in a new selection of limited edition colors. The Cypress Green, Moonstone Blue and White Smoke versions are available for $199 (41% off) while the basic black version is selling for a tad more at $229 (34% off).
Will praised the QC45 for its industry-leading active noise cancellation (ANC) effectiveness, solid mechanical design, very good acoustic isolation and long term listening comfort. While he found the treble response slightly livelier than his preference, a small adjustment to the EQ in the app dialed in the sound to his liking.
Will found the Quick Charge feature rather handy; a 10 minute charge gave him about 2-3 hours of actual playing time. A fully drained pair of QC45s required 2.5 hours of charging to deliver its full rated 24 hours of playback time. The QuietComfort headphones come with a 42-inch audio cable with in-line microphone and straight 3.5mm plug and 2.5mm plug, a 12-inch charging cable (USB-A to USB-C) and a zippered storage case.
At $350, the QuietComfort headphones remain one of the top performing ANC headphones. At $199, it’s a no-brainer.
