Tell them as following King says: - I do find polarity problem affecting users with VU-Sat Xtreme and 3 satellites. - Mainly users with Twin LNBs 110/119 connected to external switches. - The symptoms forces auto roll and showing wrong satellites. - There is no fault at alignment.
The sorry Azzes moderaters tell the nubies to move their dish. I can't leave my foot prints at TotalFTA Sometimes I can read their comments and sometimes it asks me for passwords.

king since u do testing . how can u solve a problem with ddp. dish 500 with twin dpp 110/119 dihs 500 with 1 dp for 61.5. 110/119 works ok .61.5 the signal comes and then goes for good . im aware of so many suggestion as leave one receiver on and bla bla bla . but what you think the right solution .????

I told the entire forum 10 days ago DN added some type of analog signal causes polarity conflict for friendly users who are using generic FTA receivers in particular VU-Sat extreme.
I don't know what signal. The only way to remove it is to add a low pass filter or band pass depending on the tone signal? Right now affecting only few VS products but soon I expect more to follow.
Charlie is playing slick The only solution I can recommend at the moment is to use an A/B switch. These type of things can't be easily resolved in newer bins I would only guess.

Is to use SAT button For example select BEV package only, or echo 3, Select echo 7 package or echo 8,10 packackage only etc. This can work like a switch without hardwire. Yo might see few seconds of auto roll but should work perfectly.
Sorry you not making sense on that one. Inorder for all the sat's to be live and connected you would have to have some kinda switching install. When u make a selection like that of what you mention above by selecting a single package or what have you. It still uses your current DiSEqC setings or what have you.
thats why the more experianced poster will suggest that they always run a direct feed from a suspected misaligned antenna, we would advise this before going into such evasive actions to test the actual unswitched signal to see what is actually being feed to the tuner regardless of the box's switch setting's. __________________ just ask me, and i can tell you how you can fix any sat recver you got, dead or alive, oem or aftermarket
This true tester has apparently been here to see that people are providing the 'wrong' advice yet has to leave this site, go to another and ask someone else to post for him.

That still doesn't make the post any easier to comprehend.
Being intimately familiar with a few setups involving 3 sats and multiple Viewsat Extreme receivers (and other Viewsat models), I have not witnessed or been made aware of the polarity problems identified by the original poster. Of course that doesn't mean they don't exist, just not present anywhere I have seen. __________________ They tried to make me learn, but I was too tough for them.
They don't know that there is a problem yet cuz not everyone complaining Well that is normal for not everyone got same LNBs with same settings They will eventually get it Thanx for the messenger
They don't have bins for VU-Sat yet cuz of the strange polarity that I came across on October 15th The polarity shortly disappeared and then back on yesterday affecting only VU-Sat xtreme. Can this be a cause or affect? dunno, but it is there like ghosts
