Anonymous | I am new to car stereo and want to add a SUB and amp to my car. I have an Infinity 10" 4ohm 225w RMS sub. I am looking to buy a mono amp to power it. Is there a difinitive formula when choosing RMS watt ranges when comparing SUBs to AMPs? For Example would I want to buy an amp that puts out 225 RMS (@ 4ohms obviously) to power this sub or should I go higher? What would be ideal? |

It's underated and would put out just the power you need, would also potentially allow you to add another of the same sub later. 2- mono amp suggestions Kicker KX400.1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18797%26item%3D5719577862 %26 MTX 421d http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18797%26item%3D5719834971 %26 3- 2 channel amp suggestions Kicker KX200.2 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=48598%26item%3D5719705535 %26 Xtant A2002T http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18796%26item%3D5719673308 %26%26 Alpine MRV=7320 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=39733%26item%3D5720315127 %26%26 Good Luck |
