Tim Huynh Unregistered guest | I've got a pair of B&W DM603 S3 and want to get a pre & power amp to go with it. The buget is around $1000 for the pre & power. There are only limited brands available where I live: Pass Labs, Denon, Yamaha, Marantz, Onkyo, Roksan Which should I get ? Any advise is appreciated. Thanks. |

Tim Huynh Unregistered guest | Thanks JF. I bought the Threshold. It really gives strength to the B&W - warmer, stronger vocal and music eventhough it's like 20 yrs old and has only 50W per channel (comparing to 95W/c of My Marantz SR5400). I'm using my SR5400 as pre-amp and thinking of selling it and buy Nad pre amp C160. I'll also get a new CD player. I have in mind the Marantz CD17mkIII. Would all those go well together ? Thanks. |
