Need simple fix for free pay per view on Bev

On the new Bell Expressvu recievers, you can watch 2 pay per view movies but when you want to watch the third, it tells you you must connect the reciever to the phone line (so it can bill you for the two you watched). Does anyone know of a method of reseting the counter so it thinks it has billed you for the movies without actually hooking up the phone line? I don't want to get into burning cards or buying add-on's. You would think there is an easy way to reset the internal counter.
