What I really want is the programmer for it because in other countries people are making soo much money and its legal and well I just want a piece of the action. But does anyone know where I could possible get some equipment or even just an idea on how they do it. Because the people I know will take the secret to the grave because there making soo much money. If someone would be able to hook me up with someone or give me some info on someone who would be willing to sell this stuff. I'd tell the exactly where to get their card programmed. I really dont care what the price is because in countries out of the US we will pay almost anything for DTV because its cant be gotten any other way and theres really no other source of TV. I'll even pay someone to help me. but then again from most of the post where I see loser stating "there is no access card" (losers) there really arent many people here that can help just desperate losers without DTV. I had everything setup and went my card went 744/745, I always had a new 3m to load. I was very dissappointed, as we all were, when DAVE decided it was time for us to stop doing that... I have been reading about this issue with the p4/p5 for a long time... Patiently waiting for the new fix to come out and for any word on the crack of the new card. I have a trusted site that I always used for all my HU needs, and now they are only offering DISHNET 3m's. They still have no word on anything for DTV. I hope that they will soon, or someone will, because I miss my channels. I miss waiting to see what will be out next on Pay-Per-View, and taping all my favorite movies from the 500's. Ok... Everyone together now. We must pray... :::God, if you are out there. Please hear our cries of anguish and sorrow. We are tired of watching antenna TV and adjusting it for every channel. I told him he was full of crap and he said come over and see. I did and holy crap it works! My neighbor is going to introduce me to the guy. I'm going to offer him $200 just to tell me where he got it from. From what he says, the new hack does require a new loader. He said the guy paid $1,500 for it and the hack. Sounds about right to me, since there isn't anything else on the market. I'll know soon enough. I go see the guy on Saturday. I'll let you guys know what happens. Just know the hack is out and rolling out very slowly. |

The real Osama Bin Unregistered guest | I am figuring there are a lot of people with direct tv recievers, that they are using as paper weights, who wish they had dishnet recievers. Now instead of trying to hack the p4 or p5 would it note be better to try and find a way to convert the direct tv receiver to a dishnet receiver. They do pretty much the same job, and I can't help but to feel it would be a process of clearing out the direct tv program and installing the dishnet program. Lets get everyone redirecting their energy here before the NFL season starts. |

Not a bunch of music channels with a few good ones. I say buy your own system...their very cheap in lots of stores, get the tuner and program card available all over the net. Now you have it ALL with no time agreements and FREE.You may have to play the card game every few years. I have locals that reprogram my card for me when they figure out a way to block it cheap and it takes them a long time to crack. BEWARE...DON'T GET SUCKED INTO THIS FREE TRAP! |

I open the window and crank the volume, while I stand on the ladder and very slowly swivel it around. For my area the angle is still pretty shallow, maybe 21degrees above horizon. 'Replaces card: 0005 6847 8895' I don't know what that last card is? Also it says this mail group code at the top? Also, it says: 'This access card will expire soon, if it is not activated. The access card in your DIRECTV receiver allows you to receive our satellite signal and enjoy DIRECTV programming. Please follow the instructions below or the card will not work.' What does that mean? |

The person takes the p5 card number and makes a call and your up and running within minutes...missing the network channels. The scam goes. The person is just subscribing to the recent Direct tv free promotion were you get 4 months of free programming when you sign up for the NFL ticket. Once the bill is not paid after a month you get one more month and then they zap your card leaving it useless when the bill is not paid. Has anyone heard of this.... |

el toro maldito Unregistered guest | Site Scams. It is with sadness that I write this notice to all members. There are many unscrupulous dealers out there and this IS the news section. While I have been involved in testing for some 6 years, I have never seen the likes of what's going on today. As many of you know, I mod for several sites and I feel it my duty to report unscrupulous dealers that scam people. The FTA receivers hit the mainstream when Fortec released (leaked) a fix that allows FTA units to receive Dishnetwork. Fortec can't let anyone know this, so they release (leak) from a mid east hacker known only as Al7bar. The original name sake of that release was registered and came to life as Al7bar.tk (the original and ONLY true Al7bar site) An enterprising young used car salesman who was a member there, took it upon himself to copy their name, logo and forum format (verbatim) Not only did he steal everything from the original, he took it upon himself to lay claim to the name Al7_NA (north America) Using the good name that Al7bar had developed was VERY rewarding in terms of web traffic. Being the used car salesman he is, he quickly seized the opportunity to bilk people out of money. Engineering what he called a Group Purchase and duping people into sending him their money UPFRONT for product some have never seen. It was my misfortune to also be duped by him into moderating for this scam site. I helped put together a decent forums section and kind of ruled the roost there till I saw what was going on. Being a member of the original site, and posting there as well, I came to find out all about the used car salesman. I gave my notice there and joined the original site as super mod. Shortly thereafter I became privy to information about this guy and what he's done. Over 40 people have never received product from as far back as February. The total exceeds $25k. He has since banned my ip address for posting the information about what he is doing. A group of people are trying to get his site in Canada shutdown, due to his unscrupulous business practices. Paypal has even suspended his account permanently. Be aware of this leech and steer clear. Forums are to spread and share knowledge and help each other, NOT steal from the public! This brings me to the my last subject. Someone in Canada (not quite as unscrupulous) took it upon himself to start up a website called TheDssGuy.com THIS IS NOT ME. I believe it is someone that frequents the irc channel as well as being a member here in these forums. He registered that name recently and is using it to buy and sell all kinds of equipment. Boycott this individual's site as well. I called him about it and told him who I was(his number is posted) and he immediately shut it down for 1 day. Better yet... Call him, email him and let him know about his unscrupulous business tactics. I didn't mean to turn this into a rant. This is NEWS, recent news, and everyone deserves to know about these scammers. |

Mitch Stern Unregistered guest | hey guys! Im posting for a little help and suport with my jeepers. Im currently using a hacked P4. From what I hear my problem is an uncomon problem as it rarely ever hapens to any pc. The simple problem is that when I try to read or write I get the message "failed to enter program mode". Now neither the card nort the programer have problems since they've worked on other compurters but there are three PCs here (the only ones that I can use now) that give me this error message when I try to do anithing. I am using the old printer port, which is what most people use. I was told to set the port to standard but was not told how to do so. The OS is windows xp home edition in two PCs and profesional in one PC. If anyone can help with whatever setings I have to change or set to make this work I would greatly apreciate your help. |

As said earlier in the thread.. who watch's it all.. I'm not saying the ppv's should be included.. but they should have a flat rate for everything.. "even the other cities local" at a resonable cost say $80 a month for everything except ppv's. NO ONE would bother to hack.. could you imagine if DTV got the $80 skins a month from all who pirate? Wow.. or say even $40skins a month for someone who only wants the trimmed down package.. all of the satellite providers have targeted it wrong as far as I see it. Make it affordable.. make it not worth pirating. You can bet.. a p4 and p5 fix are already at hand.. I say this with no knowledge of the current situation.. but from being involved in the VCII and VCII+ days.. the hack is already here.. its jus a matter if the finders/builders/fixers can make a few skins.. Look at history.. the F card came out.. it was a bit pricey... the H card came out.. it was more fair... the HU card came out and it was asicly free.. the finders/builders/fixers aren't going to release the p4 or p5 unless they know they are going to get a few skins for the time that they've invested.. the money that they've lost etc.. and for those from the earlier days.. yes VCII+ fixes did come out.. some hidden some squashed by GI (bought up to never hit the market) so.... if you thin a p4 or p5 won't show up your dreaming. However if it does show up look for DTV to use different tactics to combat it this time.. by the hack up... etc.. what happen to BlackCipher.. the almost legal replacement for the VCII and II+... its a no brainer.. but it is a matter of time untill release shows profit for the guru's that cracked it. |

I saw all of that stuff, too, or how would I have known what SCAM they were trying to pass off on you. Try going into support, though, and you will get nothing. Either as a dealer or a subscriber. But that's not the important thing. They want to "program" your card, or one that you will buy from them, and all they're really doing is subscribing to DTV for you. There are many SCAMS they can use to do this, one of which was posted on our site tonight (Subscribe to NFL Ticket, and get four months of free programming. Problem? They subscribe your card, but don't pay when the bill comes. Your "free months" are then cancelled, and your card is worthless unless you reimburse them.) Either subscribe for yourself and follow the advice that's available to get the Platinum package for the price of the basics, or wait for the real hack to come out. On the other hand, if you want to donate $75 to these guys out of the goodness of your heart, feel free to do so. I'm sure they'll be glad to oblige. They have this great format, so easy to read and so easy to access, and yeah, sort of fun when there's nothing else going on, but to allow it to disintegrate as it has because of a couple of malcontents, well -- that's just plain and simple indifference. Shame on them. I saw that happen to another thread on this same site when the "real" Mr. Whitefolks turned that forum into a third-grade pi$$ing-contest, and now those same persons, or people of the same ilk, are attempting to do the same thing here. And if they don't care, we shouldn't care. It costs none of us anything to defend this site, and it costs none of us anything to leave this site. We can all go somewhere else, and ecoustics can go down like so many others. But it does break my sentimental heart. Richard Young is in contact with someone hereat, but I don't think the guy he's communicating with really gives a $hit. How in the hell did he allow people to start posting anonymously using registered posters' names? That was the beginning of the end. If we allow it to be. If they allow it to be. Originally there were two legitimate members of dss.central/community that were posting here, and both were very knowledgeable (but also recruiting and rather "elitist" in their attitude): They were the real "the voice" and "ao700". I find it hard to believe that these guys would have so demeaned themselves to the point that these pea-brains have, but you never know. They have really good mod's over there, but not too much action, so anything's possible. I do agree with you that these a$$holes should be ignored, totally, but now that ecoustics has allowed them to use registered members' names that becomes pretty difficult. Good peeps are having to defend their good names, which gets kind of tiring after a while so they just go elsewhere. What happened to THE TRUTH? Remember Shrek2? Arguing with snot wears pretty thin fairly quickly. For me, I ain't going anywhere unless there's one mass exodus outta here. I'll stay and entertin these creeps all day long if it'll keep them off of other sites.
