How much better are Kicker L7's thatn L5's

Anonymous	Posted on Wednesday, January 07, 2004 - 22:36 GMT I have a 12 L5 (dvc 2 ohm)and i wanna know how much better the L7's are.... Would the L7 sound better in the 1.1 cu ft box i have on my current 600 watt amp of will i not be able to tell a difference, also how much difference will there be if i get an amp to match the L7????

The L7 has a greater Xmax, and higher power handling. that's about it. if you had an S12L7 with a 1Kwatt amp, you'd probably incrase SPL by about +3dB, maybe as much as +6dB with a different enclosure.
